External Efficiency: Ultra-Thin VIPs for Winter Range Extension

While internal aerogels ensure safety, range anxiety remains a major challenge in cold climates. Hebei Woqin introduces the Vacu-Series Ultra-Thin VIPs as a high-efficiency external "thermal coat" for the battery envelope.


  • Extreme External Insulation: Positioned on the exterior of the battery pack upper cover or the bottom aluminum tray, our ultra-thin VIPs offer a thermal conductivity as low as 3.0 mW/(m·K). This allows the battery pack to maintain its optimal operating temperature (25°C - 45°C) for significantly longer periods in freezing environments, drastically reducing the energy consumed by the Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS) for self-heating.


  • Volumetric Space Saving: At a thickness of only 1mm to 5mm, our VIPs provide the insulation equivalent of 25mm of traditional materials. This extreme space efficiency allows automotive engineers to maximize the volumetric energy density of the battery pack, directly translating into increased mileage for the end user.
