200°C Turn Insulation into a CUI & Toxin Risk"/>

Is your insulation strategy a "Hidden Time Bomb"?
In the industrial insulation market, many procurement managers fall into a common trap: judging a material's performance solely by its datasheet at room temperature. But insulation is a marathon, not a sprint. What happens when the temperature rises to 300°C? What happens after 5 years of moisture exposure?
At Hebei Woqin, we hold a unique position: we manufacture Aerogel. We don't just sell materials; we test them to their limits. Based on data from the Hebei Woqin Internal Laboratory, we are revealing the uncomfortable truth about the "Hydrophobic Illusion" to help you protect your assets.
When you pour water on a fresh sample of Rock Wool or Glass Wool, the water beads up and rolls off. It looks perfect. But this is often a temporary effect created by organic silicone oil or emulsions.
The Reality Check:Once the operating temperature exceeds 200°C, these organic hydrophobic agents begin to decompose and evaporate.
Result: The "waterproof" Rock Wool turns into a moisture-absorbing sponge.
Consequence: Wet insulation loses its thermal resistance and becomes a breeding ground for Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).
The Aerogel Difference:Unlike the surface coating on traditional materials, Woqin Aerogel’s hydrophobicity is structural. Through chemical grafting, we bond hydrophobic groups to the silica skeleton at the molecular level. Think of it as giving the material a "permanent waterproof raincoat" that is chemically bonded and cannot be burned off, even at high temperatures.
Let’s look at the numbers. We compared our own product lines in the lab to show you the difference between "Paper Data" and "Real-World Performance."
| Feature | Traditional Rock Wool | Ceramic Fiber | Woqin Aerogel Blanket |
| Hydrophobicity | Relies on Organic Binders (Temporary) | Poor | 99.7% (Structural DNA) |
